William H. DeLeshe of Bolingbrook formerly of Lyons, age 91. Beloved husband of the late Josephine (nee Smith); loving father of Denise "China" DeLeshe, Diane (Harold) Duncan, Donna (Mike Medlin) DeLeshe, David (Bridget) DeLeshe, Doreen (Brian) Patrick, Deanna (Michael) Stankus, and the late Deborah (James) Meyers; proud Papa of Jimmy (Nola) Healy, Abby (Joe Nyman) and Louis (Cinthia) Duncan, Jenna (Iain), Dylan, Trace  and the late Sadie Jo Medlin, Aidan, Makenna and Keagan DeLeshe, Zachary, Nicky and Benny Stankus and Brittany and Christopher Patrick; great-grandfather of Ashley and Kylie Healy, Bella and Gemma Medlin, Joey and Bailee Nyman and Madison, Michael, Riley and Chase Medlin; dear brother of the late Stanley (late Marilyn) DeLeshe and the late Joan (late John) Eggersdorfer; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; cherished companion of his late dog, Chong. William served as an Army Reservist for several years. He was an Engineer for the B&O/CSX Railroads for 45 years and served as Union President for CSX Railroad. He volunteered at the Food Pantry at Our Lady of Peace Church in Darien for many years. William enjoyed playing rummy and scrabble and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears Fan. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Church, Riverside for a 10:00 a.m. Mass.
